About This Recipe

Face oils and face creams contain no water, and they work so much better on skin that already has moisture on it, which is where a face mist comes in. This one can be used all year, and it's especially great for cooling and hydrating overheated or slightly sunkissed skin.

  • 2 drops vitamin E
  • 2 drops lavender essential oil
Hydration mist with fresh flowers
Cool & Dewy

Directions

  1. Mix the essential oil and vitamin E with the glycerine in a measuring cup.
  2. Add the chamomile hydrosol, lavender hydrosol and aloe vera.
  3. Pour into a 2 oz amber spray bottle and label.
  4. Store in the refrigerator.

To Use

  1. After cleansing your face, spray a few times, then follow with a few drops of Dew Drop Serum or your favorite face oil.
  2. Spritz over your body and follow with body butter.
  3. Spray on your face anytime skin feels overheated, or for a midday hydration boost.
  4. Gently mist sunkissed skin to help cool it down.

Notes

  • Make a larger batch and freeze it into ice cubes, ready when you need them.
  • Because this contains hydrosols and no preservative, keep it in the fridge.
