Ingredients

  • 1 cup shea butter
  • 2 tbsp apricot oil
  • 1 cup sea salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp cardamom
  • 5 drops cinnamon essential oil
  • 5 drops ginger essential oil
Fluffy spiced body scrub
Warm & Invigorating

Directions

  1. Melt the shea butter and apricot oil slowly in a double boiler over low heat.
  2. Remove from heat and place in the fridge to cool down quickly. This helps prevent the shea from blooming later.
  3. Once solid (but not rock hard), whip with a hand blender or immersion blender until fluffy.
  4. Stir in the sea salt until fully combined.
  5. Stir in the cinnamon, ginger and cardamom.
  6. Add the essential oils and mix well.
  7. Scoop into a clean pint mason jar with a lid and label.

To Use

  1. Gently massage a small amount over your skin, focusing on rough and dry areas.
  2. Rinse clean with warm water.

Notes

  • What is shea bloom? Shea can crystallize into little beads of fat. They're harmless but take away from the smooth texture, which is why the quick chill helps.
  • Keep it fresh: use a clean spoon to scoop, and keep it free of water. Stored properly, it stays fresh for 6 months. If you notice any strange odors or colors, discard it.
  • Body only: salt and sugar are often too coarse for the delicate skin of your face.
  • More exfoliation: use a combo of sugar and salt, or a coarser salt.

Amazing! My skin feels supple and looks plumper and younger. I cannot recommend this product more for anyone with dry, dull skin.

Sweet Cheeks... the name says it all

Smells wonderful and is a luxurious cream to hydrate under my eyes and around my mouth where wrinkles abide.

Wonderful

This has hands down made my skin so soft, I will continue to buy this as long as it’s being made. I can’t say enough good things about it.

So luxurious!

I just love the Brighten Up Balm. It’s rich and smooth and makes my skin glow. Since I discovered it, I don’t use anything else!
