Warming Winter Vanilla Body Butter

There is something comforting about the warm scent of vanilla in winter. Its aroma is grounding and cozy, like wrapping yourself in a soft, fluffy blanket.

Vanilla Infused Oil

Ingredients
  • One fresh Vanilla Bean
  • ¾ cup Apricot Oil or Jojoba Oil
  • Double boiler
  • One glass jar with a tight-fitting lid

Instructions

  1. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the vanilla paste into the double boiler.
  2. Chop the remaining vanilla bean into 1-inch sections and add them to the double boiler.
  3. Pour in the carrier oil (Apricot or Jojoba oil) to cover the vanilla bean.
  4. Gently heat the mixture for 3-4 hours on low heat.
  5. Pour the warm oil into a clean glass jar, seal it, and store in a warm, dark place for 1-2 weeks.
  6. Once ready, strain through a fine mesh strainer and store in a clean jar.

Warming Winter Vanilla Body Butter

Ingredients
  • ½ cup Vanilla Infused Oil
  • ½ cup Coconut Oil (solid, not liquid)
  • ½ cup Shea Butter (refined & organic)
  • Double Boiler
  • Spatula
  • Stick Blender
  • Two clean 8 oz jars

Instructions

  1. Measure the shea butter and coconut oil into a double boiler and gently melt.
  2. Remove from heat and add the Vanilla Infused Oil to the mixture.
  3. Refrigerate until solid, then remove and allow to soften slightly.
  4. Using a stick blender, whip the mixture until smooth, fluffy, and well blended.
  5. Transfer into clean jars and store in a cool place.

This body butter melts effortlessly into your skin, leaving it deeply nourished and hydrated. For best results, apply after a shower or bath while skin is still slightly damp.
