Shower Steamers for Relaxation
These are great for tension, anxiety, stress headaches, or just to relax.
To use, place a steamer in your shower, away from the drain and away from the running water. Ideally you just want the button of the streamer to be wet, while the rest of it slowly fizzles and gives off the aroma. Placing it on a soap dish is good way.
Store in an airtight glass container. These will last about a year and you can always freshen them up with a few drops of essential oil.
Shower Steamer for Relaxation Recipe
1 cup Baking Soda
½ cup Citric Acid
⅓ cup Arrowroot Powder
⅛ cup Kaolin Clay
Spritzer bottle with witch hazel
20 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
20 drops Orange Essential Oil
20 drops Chamomile Essential Oil
Combine the powders. Spritz with witch hazel two or three times to get the powders to slightly stick together. Don’t add too much as this activates the fizziness.
