Dubai Chocolate Recipe with a sprinkle of Rose

These Dubai Chocolates with a sprinkle of Rose make the perfect Valentine’s day treats or anytime treats.

I myself am not a big sweet eater, I do try to limit sugar intake for all the various health reasons, but when I do want something sweet it usually involves chocolate.

And if you like chocolate and nut butters with a crunchy twist you are going to love these. The centers are filled with toasted kadayif (finely shredded filo dough) and pistachio cream (this is like a sweet nut butter). They are so good!

Dubai Chocolate Recipe

6oz Kadayif (this is shredded filo dough)

4 oz Pistachio Cream

2tbs Butter

1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

1 cup White Chocolate Chips

Rose Sprinkles (optional but adds a Valentine twist)

Chocolate Bar Mold (or other candy mold)

Melt chocolate chips over a double boiler or in small bursts in the microwave. And pour a thin layer into your molds. Place molds in the freezer to harden.

While the chocolate is in the freezer hardening, heat up the 2tbs of butter in a sauce pan and toast the Kadayif until it is light brown. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly, before mixing in the Pistachio cream. If you want your filling more creamy add in more Pistachio Cream.

Remove the molds from the freezer and place a scoop out the kadayif pistachio mixture into each mold. Spread it around so it reaches the side of your mold into an even layer. We like ours really full of filling but you really can put in as much or little as you like.

Next, melt the white chocolate chips over a double boiler or in small bursts in the microwave. And gently spread a layer over the kadayif pistachio mixture. While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle dried roses over the chocolate.

Place the molds in the fridge or leave on the counter to harden before removing the chocolates from the molds.

Store them in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Before eating take them out of the refrigerator and bring to room temperature.

Enjoy!
