Calming Face Oil Recipe

Calming Face Oil Recipe

This is one of my own personal favorites for sensitive skin, a little goes a long way and it is very calming and moisturizing.

Calming Face Oil for Sensitive Skin

4 Tbs Apricot Oil

2 tsp Jojoba Oil

2 tsp Rosehip Oil

⅛ tsp Sea Buckthorn Oil

1 drop Chamomile Essential Oil

2 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Combine all ingredients and shake or stir to combine. Don’t forget to label.

This recipe makes 2 ounces.

Use this oil as a daily moisturizer or as a part of a night time routine. Face oils are best applied last in the skin care routine, as they are the heaviest and will soak in through everything else already applied.

Another great way to use this calming face oil is alone when your skin needs a break from everything else and just needs some simple nurturing and hydrating oils. To do this, spray rose water on your face and then apply a little face oil. The water helps the oils soak in and the oil helps seal in the water to further hydrate skin.

If you have really sensitive skin you can leave out the essential oils all together.

And sometimes skin needs a break, and less is more as far as ingredients and products go. Like during acne breakouts or after a sunburn, or a rosacea flare up.

Don’t want to make it? You can also buy the calming face oil. This is the same exact recipe I use for the one I sell. I know some people think it's strange I give the recipes away, but I think some folks like to make things like skincare and other folks rather buy it.

Enjoy
